It's a short and easy read in an evening or two. It shares the hypothetical accounts of real world legal choices parents make (or lack thereof) and how those unfold. Most parents have plenty of parenting books on their shelves but few have resources like this about the legal life they acquired when their baby was born or adopted.

Outstanding book! This book was recommended to me by another financial planner. After reading it, I now give a copy to each of my financial planning clients. It is written in very easy to understand stories that captivate the reader while educating him or her. This book is not intended to replace a professional attorney, but it should be read before meeting with one (I do not think the one negative reviewer understood this). As a parent, I highly recommend this book to other parents.

It's a one way ticket to PEACE OF MIND if you're a parent. There are so many goodies in the book that provide information on how to act on some of the steps to protect your family – all free. Fantastic book.
